I am originally from New Hampshire and now live in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I was the director of the Fine Arts Department at a local high school in N.H. for many years. I also was an Adjunct Professor at a local college and taught an advance art program there. My educational background to obtain my degree to teach art was from Rhode Island School of Design, Keene State Teachers College, University of Massachusetts, and the University of New Hampshire.
I have exhibited my jewelry at New Hampshire League of Arts and Crafts, Manchester Institute of Art, American House in New York City and Colorado, Franklin Mint exclusive Crafts Catalog, and the De Cordova Museum in Massachusetts. I also was selected "Art Teacher Of the Year' for the state of New Hampshire.
I have studied silver jewelry methods at the University of New Hampshire and with Gorden Uyehara and Louise Duhamel, who were the inspiration for me to work in Precious Metal Clay. I have spent over 40 years working with Silver and Gold and teaching the variety of methods and technique to my students over the years.
